I loved this brothers and sisters project by Zara since the day it started. First of all the idea of creating a lookbook with photos of real families, children in their own environment, photos shot by one of their parents. I honestly think it’s so clever!
Next to that I really admired all the images from these amazing photographers they picked.
I never (ever, ever!) imagined that one day I would wake up, check my mail and find one of them asking me if I would be interested in working with them on their new campaign. Seriously?! Me? Such a huge honor!
So I decided to jump. Of course. I also decided to be proud and enjoy every single second of it. So far, so good!
Here are some (okay many…) outtakes of my first edit for them.

Een voor een pareltjes!! Echt mooi…
Hallo Madelon,
congratulations for your awesome pictures. And it works!
I ordered some pieces for my little girl.
XO Anne
I’m not suprised at all they asked you! Great job. I have been following you on IG.
Thank you! It is still a bit surreal to me ;).
congratulations! I’m not surprised one bit. You capture them both so well. You inspire me to pick up my real camera more! xo
Yes! Do it! I love it. But I still love my iPhone too ;)
Wauw, Madelon!

Leuk he? Zo’n eer om gevraagd te worden… X
I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again – there’s a reason for this and it’s that you have a great eye. Your photography skills are most excellent and it helps that you love your subject matter.
